Dumpster Trailer Rental Damage & Equipment Responsibility Policy

T&H Junk & Waste Removal

By renting a dumpster trailer from T&H Junk & Waste Removal (“Company”), the renter (“Customer”) agrees to the following equipment responsibility and damage policy.

1. Customer Responsibility for Equipment

The Customer assumes full responsibility for the dumpster trailer and all related equipment from the time of delivery until the trailer is picked up by T&H Junk & Waste Removal.

The Customer agrees to use the equipment only for its intended purpose and to exercise reasonable care in protecting the trailer from damage, misuse, or theft.

2. Prohibited Uses

The following activities are strictly prohibited and may result in additional fees, damage charges, or termination of the rental agreement:

  • Overloading the trailer beyond its rated capacity

  • Transporting hazardous or prohibited materials without approval

  • Burning materials inside the trailer

  • Altering or modifying the trailer or its components

  • Moving or relocating the trailer after delivery without company authorization

  • Using heavy equipment that may damage the trailer structure

3. Damage Liability

The Customer is responsible for any damage to the trailer or equipment that occurs during the rental period, including but not limited to:

  • Structural damage to trailer walls, frame, or floor

  • Tire damage or punctures caused by misuse

  • Broken lights, wiring, or electrical components

  • Damaged loading gates, latches, or safety equipment

  • Bent or damaged trailer components caused by heavy machinery

  • Fire damage or chemical contamination

The Customer agrees to reimburse T&H Junk & Waste Removal for the full cost of repair or replacement, including labor, parts, transportation, and loss of rental income during repair.

4. Equipment Inspection

All trailers are inspected prior to delivery. Upon pickup, T&H Junk & Waste Removal will conduct a post-rental inspection.

If damage is identified, the Customer will be notified and provided with documentation and an invoice for repair costs.

5. Excessive Cleaning Fees

If the trailer is returned with materials that require special handling, hazardous waste removal, or excessive cleaning beyond normal use, additional fees may apply.

6. Theft or Loss

The Customer is responsible for the trailer while it is on their property or under their control. In the event of theft, loss, or disappearance of the equipment, the Customer may be responsible for the replacement cost of the trailer and associated equipment.

7. Payment Authorization

By renting from T&H Junk & Waste Removal, the Customer authorizes the Company to charge the payment method on file for any damages, excessive cleaning fees, or repair costs incurred during the rental period.

8. Limitation of Liability

T&H Junk & Waste Removal shall not be liable for any damage to driveways, landscaping, or property resulting from normal placement or removal of the dumpster trailer unless caused by gross negligence.

Customers are responsible for ensuring the placement location is suitable for the weight and size of the trailer.

9. Agreement

By booking or using T&H Junk & Waste Removal’s dumpster trailer rental services, the Customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to this damage and equipment responsibility policy.
